Be A Volunteer Angel 09/01/2011
Your Attitude must be like my own, for I, the Messiah, did not come to be served, but to serve and to give my life. (Matthew 20:28) As we go about our day today I pray that we are able to not be so concerned with our needs as we are about those around us. We need volunteers that would be able to help drive some of our clients to appointments, job interviews, etc... What would the Lord have you do for one of your sisters? Call me or email. It's a baby girl!!! Anisa had her baby last night, Anastasia was born weighing in at 7 pounds and 1 little oz. Please pray for both mom and baby as they spend the next few days getting to know each other. Thank you Lord for a safe delivery and for the precious child you have brought into this world. May her and her mother be covered with your love and protection. Amen! NBMM Receives Donation from W.I.N 08/11/2011
We are so thankful to a great group of women who belong to W*I*N (Women Impacting the Nation). They held a Pink Stiletto fundraiser for us and we received work clothes for our clients as well as a check for $1,000.00. God is so good and we are so thankful for women who can truly make a difference in our communities. Many Blessings. JP Make a Difference Today 01/31/2011
Hi everyone, I pray that you are doing well, and are busy about doing the Lord's work! What a blessing it is to be a servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Fisher of people, that is what our Lord and Savior would have us be. The sermon yesterday at Church was on the Gospel of Matthew 4:12-23. Jesus calls all of us to drop what we are doing, and help someone else become followers of Christ. Peter and James immediately left their fishing nets, walked away from all that they knew, to follow a man they didn't even know. Father Bill asked how many of us would do that? How many of us would just leave everything and everyone we knew behind? I believe that Peter and James could do that only because their spirits recognized the Spirit that was within Jesus. Trust, Faith, and Love. You can help those around you to let go of the stuff in their lives that keep them from being all God wants them to be. Let me ask you something...is the fishing net you're holding more important then the lives you can change? What would Jesus want you to do to make a difference in someone's life today? Join us and help a single mother start a New Beginning today! Many Blessings, Julie A New Year... A New Beginning!!! 01/21/2011
Have you ever thought to your self, "if I could just get another chance, I would...? Well our Lord is a Lord of second chances. We get to start our New Beginnings everyday. It is like celebrating a new year every time you wake up in the morning. The Son is there to greet you wherever you are. We can, if we choose, get up every morning with praise in our hearts, love in our actions, and march out into the world with the mercy and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our clients are just like so many of us who so desperately need someone to reach out with a hand, a prayer, with Christ's love in their hearts, to help them find that precious gift, a second chance, a do-over!!! We pray that you will join us as we continue doing the Lord's work. There is no greater gift then to be able to pay if forward. What the Lord has done for you, you too can do for someone else. Help them find the baby in the manger this Christmas season. The overwhelming joy that you receive will last a lifetime! Amen!
