2009 Annual Summary
Our Mission Is to empower single parents to become financially able to provide for their families without Government funding. With mentoring, supportive services and community resources, they are able to seek job training or a higher education and find their God given purpose in live.

Meeting the Needs We are able to reach out single parents that desire to make a change in their lives and the lives of their children. So many of the single parents that we have been able to support through this difficult moment in time, had given up on the thought that they could get job training or a higher education due to not having family support, financial support to be able to work, go to school and take care of their family.

· Reaching out to these single parents loving and supporting them through a very trying time in their lives will help them to remember that they have loving, supportive people there for them to help them relieve the stress they have in their everyday live of working, going to school and being a loving parent.

· Help finding financial help for tuition
· Support groups to teach parenting skills, finances, or subject they would like to learn more about.

2009 Services  We have had 28 clients complete their job training, and we have one at this time who is going for her higher education. We paid over $20,000 helping out with tuition, books, daycare, car payments, rent, gas, and other expenses for our clients--truly acts of God's grace. Any one of these expense needs unattended could have caused them to give up their dream.

· 2740 friendly phone calls to relieve isolation and loneliness
· 49 calls for minor household repairs and yard work
· 340 referrals for other needed services

2010 Goal We look forward to reaching out to more single parents and their families to continue to bring them support so they can have a better future and are able to support themselves and their children. We would like to have 40 more clients this year and 40 mentors to be there to support and love these families.
