What Mentoring Means
Making a commitment to a mother to be there for her

What we expect from our Mentors
1) Calling your client at least once a week
2) Spending time with your Client at least twice a month.

Establishing Boundaries
1) You will need to let your client know things such as:
                      a) when you will be free to except phone calls that are not emergencies
                      b) what time you go to bed and what time you get up
                      c) whether you are able to accept calls at work

Reporting Visits and Concerns
We would like for you to document your visits with your client and letting us know if you have any concerns about her, the children and  what their needs are.  Reporting to us at least once a month at first and working toward a quarterly basis.  You are a big part of our team and all of us working together can make this program work.

Remember that the greatest gift that we can give is the power of encouragement and friendship that all starts with a prayer.  The Lord knows way before we do what our mothers need and He will reveal that to you.
